The AIRIUS SC/5 controller is used to allow the speed of AIRIUS destratification fans to be varied. Whilst the fans are normally run at full speed, speed control is recommended for some applications such as churches or auditoria as they are extremely sensitive to noise and draughts. The speed controller provides 5-step, manual control of the fan speed, allowing the fans to be run at full speed whilst the space is warming up, then turned down to a lower level for services or performances. The controller also allows fans to be fitted at lower heights than intended.
