Unlike high airflow open bladed, or square cased destratification fans which are designed to react to thermal differential and actively destratify air, these fans are designed to maintain a perpetual destratified state. This means that they stay on all the time, continuously delivering a steady stream of air from the ceiling level to floor level, ensuring that air does not stratify. They achieve this trick by clever design and with an astonishingly frugal running cost.
