At this time of year as the temperature falls and the first snow is in evidence we regularly get asked, "which are the cheapest industrial fan heaters?" It is a fair question, but the answer depends on several factors.

It depends on how much heat you need and if you have 3 phase electricity available. But why would you want the cheapest, if it is unlikely to last long and you have little chance of getting spares for it?

The answer of course is that you don't envisage a long-term heating requirement therefore it just has to get to the end of your requirement and that is enough. Listening to our customers, it seems that this situation does occasionally crop up. The heating might be for an event, a trail or experiment, or perhaps for a one-off production process. The theory goes that if it does what you need it for, and is still working then sell it on Ebay and the chances are you will have paid less than you would if you had hired a fan heater.
