Suspended Indirect Heaters
When customers browse in the suspended indirect heaters section of the Puravent website, there is a somewhat bewildering array of products. We are often asked about the relative merits of one range of suspended heaters compared to another range of suspended heaters, and in the process we occasionally find that we also get a bit confused by the different types. So in an effort to bring some clarity and comparison between the various ranges is seems that a bit more information is required. So whether it is a gas-fired suspended heater or oil-fired suspended heater that you are looking for, this page should help to shine a little light on the options.
Applications for Suspended Indirect Heaters
Suspended indirect heaters are more often than not used in agricultural and horticultural applications. Their relative ease of installation and versatility within sometimes difficult buildings such as green houses, poly tunnels and poultry houses means that they are favoured in these type of environments. These types of environments can be wet, corrosive and can have very exacting demands on control of heaters and as such there are typically various options on constriction materials, controls and air intakes to meet these various requirements.
The Biemmedue Range of Suspended Indirect Heaters
The Biemmedue range of suspended Indirect heaters are manufactured in Italy and cover most of the requirements that are found in these horticultural and agricultural building applications. They have 3 ranges, EC/S, which is basically the suspended heater version of their well established EC range of mobile oil-fired indirect heaters, BH which are a relatively new and which are suited to more difficult environments, and FARM which are perhaps the most versatile products with a wider and higher range of heating capacities, as well as the option for a centrifugal fan which is a requirement if the heated air needs to be ducted from the heater.

Great for.. | General applications, green houses, poly tunnels. Non difficult environments | More demanding applications including livestock housing, high humidity environments, corrosive environments, dusty environments (use snorkel for bringing in clean outside for for combustion) | Larger application, nurseries, poultry and other livestock housing, commercial growing |
So if your poultry building, green house, or polytunnel needs some heating, whether by gas fired heaters or indirect diesel fired heaters, then get in touch and we can help you through the process.
