Information

Our range of catalytic gas heaters is currently small however we are confident that it will grow as more products are developed. This is an environmentally friendly way of creating radiant heat but rather than burning the gas is is converted into heat using a catalytic reaction.

Compared to gas plaque heaters these catalytic gas heaters provide superior safety as they operate without the need of a spark or flame. This eliminates any risk of explosion, minimises wear and tear on components and eliminates any carbon monoxide and Nitrous Oxide emissions. As well as being economical to run catalytic gas heaters are also hydrogen ready. This means that if and when hydrogen gets mixed (up to 20%) with natural gas then these heaters will work just as well without any modification. Because there is no flame the casing of catalytic gas heaters feel cool to touch and the resultant safety distances between the catalytic gas heaters and adjacent surfaces are far less than for equivalent size gas plaque heaters.
