Cellflow Electrostatic Air Purifier Range

The CellFlow electrostatic air purifier range from LightAir represent the very best in commercial electrostatic air purifier technology. They certainly don't work like a normal electrostatic air purifier. As a result, they don't look like a normal electrostatic air purifier either. 
The CellFlow range relies on the EcoPrecision™ filter. This is an electrostatic filter that can be easily cleaned. This means that several of the range have a self cleaning or semi self cleaning mechanism.

Manual Clean Electrostatic Air Purifier

The smaller CellFlow models are designed for manual filter cleaning. The EcoPrecision™ filter can be accessed easily and removed from the air purifier. The EcoPrecision™ filter can then be placed on a flat surface like a table top and using a conventional vacuum cleaner complete with brush attachment on the hose, the filter can be cleaned by running the vacuum brush round filter following the path of the spiral wound paper. The bristles of vacuum brush will dislodge the dust from the spiral and the vacuum will ensure the dust is removed to the vacuum cleaner.

Assuming you are happy with the efficiency and air flow of a Freestanding Air Purifier, the next consideration is the running cost. These arise from;

• Frequency and cost of maintenance
• Number and cost of spares
• Usage and cost of energy 

Consider each cost in turn; 

• Maintenance.  The CellFlow Pro900 is a manual clean model. This means it periodically needs to have the filter cleaned. Unlike conventional freestanding air cleaners, the CellFlow Pro900 has a filter that can be easily removed and cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and brush attachment. This, therefore, is a maintenance job your staff will have to however it is an easy task requiring minimal disassembly of the air purifier and it should not take much time. 
• Spares. Assuming that theCellFlow Pro900 has its filter cleaned as recommended then the dust it captures will go into a vacuum cleaner.  This, therefore means that the replacing the filter is a very event.  
• Energy efficiency. Normal air cleaners have a energy hungry fan that has to push (or pull) air through a filter that presents significantair resistance. This air resistance increases as the dust loading on the filter increases which means that the energy usage goes up as the filters get dirty. The CellFlow Pro900 has a EcoPrecision™ filter. This filter is electrostatic and has negligible air resistance therefore very low running costs.  Periodically running the semi self cleaning cycle ensures that the wattage required by the fan is always minimal.
